(10:40:02 AM) X: I wish my dog had been run over.
(10:40:23 AM) Diana S: yu have a dog?
(10:40:35 AM) X: Well, no.
(10:40:56 AM) X: But like if I had a dog and it was ran over then I would have something concrete to trace my current depression too.
(10:41:36 AM) Diana S: oh bobby
(10:41:39 AM) X: But I have no dog that was run over, so I have no MacGuffin.
(10:42:34 AM) X: And fixing a problem that you don't even know what caused it is quite a quandary.
(10:42:53 AM) X: And regretfully it's not like one of those situations where you don't know what's wrong with the toaster so you buy a while new toaster.
(10:43:01 AM) X: It's a little difficult to throw yourself out with the bath water.

I think I would like to punch the person who came up with the idea that honesty is the best policy.

I feel like such a minority walking around Target in the middle of the afternoon. Not because of the color of my skin but because of the lack of either a baby carriage or a cart with a child safety seat. I feel so alienated. Will someone stop the infernal ticking of my biological clock? Woe is my uterus.

It's the thought that counts, right?

Basically my opinion on Christmas presents/giving this year.

I think there is a sane reasonable amount of change to have the coin counting machine count, I think these people have far exceeded that amount. When the person waiting for the coin counting machine has to go buy something to drink, you have too much change. When the person waiting for the coin counting machine starts to write a blog entry about waiting, you have too much change. When you BREAK THE COIN COUNTING MACHINE, you have too much change. I really want to like people, I really do.
Everyone I know online are complete and utter online lightweights. It's quite sad.

I have to think that Psalm 69 is one of my favorite metal albums ever. It's hard to get more brutal than Ministry and yet still write really great well put together songs. Ministry does that.

I think if I had a daughter I wouldn't name her Life because Life Is A Highway and I'd rather not have anyone ride my daughter all night long.

Anyone who knows me knows that I have an affinity for "bad music." I think Summer Girls by LFO falls under that category but how can you not love this song? The lyrics are so bad that they are great.

I can just imagine their album being produced on a shoe string budget and they only having enough money for one take of the song. The band was out partying the night before and have nothing done except the chorus. With their back to the wall they just decide to wing it in the booth and the result is the gold of, "I love Kevin Bacon but I hate Footloose." A hit is born.

Like most people my introduction to Weezer was the Buddy Holly video. The funny thing was the initial appeal to me was the Happy Days setting. At that point in time TV Land was the majority of my tv watching so the use of the Happy Days setting was perfect for me.

Course it wouldn't be until 2000 or 2001 that I would really get into Weezer but that is a story for another time.

Traditionally before going to school, I would always watch an half hour or so of MTV, MTV2, and VH-1. Flipping between the channels to get the best video that was on at the time. As a result I have a lot of memories of watching the video for Falls Apart by Sugar Ray in the mornings before my senior year. Partially just because it would get play on both the MTV channels and VH-1. On top of that it's just a really great song. I've always loved the beat of the outro.

God their first album is so underrated.

Remember when Paula Abdul was big? It ends up being kinda sad to see the state that she is in nowadays. But for a while there she was the bee's knees.

Plus I know I wasn't the only person who owned the MC Skat Cat album.
